Just as an FYI, I will (probably) be a little late to Monday night’s meeting due to a family obligation. I intend to go to executive session, leave from there for my thing, and then return to the open session, arriving a little late for the open session. Dependent of course upon traffic, weather, timing, etc.

Why did they not re-classify Mr. Thomas? I understand that it is a personnel issue, but his teacher was reprimanded for a violation and it is his school.

bam – maybe Durflinger should reprimand himself – he is the interim Superintendent and thus it is his district and incurred on his watch. Better yet, maybe Laura and the other board members should reprimand themselves
Seriously, though, I think there is much info that is and should be kept confidential, and we have to trust those making decisions based on that info. Nonetheless, I would be interested in hearing why those board members who voted against what was presumably Durflinger’s recommendation didn’t support his decision – I think this can be explained (by Jim, Rachel, etc.) without divulging specifics. (but I don’t plan on tracking them down for a discussion – I’m not THAT interested
